Wake Forest adds two kickers, including Army veteran

In need of a reliable kicker next season, Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson went searching for a few good men.He found a top candidate in Eric Osteen, a 28-year-old West Point alum who served as a platoon leader, company executive officer and company logistics officer with the Army before completing his military service. Osteen served as Army’s kicker through his senior season in 2012 and is eligible to play for the Demon Deacons as a graduate transfer. Before trading his cleats for Army boots, he notched 29 touchbacks on 53 kickoffs during his senior season.
