Syracuse QB Culpepper resumes workouts after beating cancer

Syracuse quarterback Rex Culpepper is completely cancer free and had his first full workout with the team on Friday.Culpepper, a redshirt sophomore, said he broke down in tears when doctors at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla. informed him that he had overcome his testicular cancer.”When they took my IV out, it was magical,” Culpepper told reporters. “To finally walk out of there, I couldn’t put it into words. I can’t even describe the euphoria.”Culpepper did think of one way to convey his joy.”The closest thing I can say is it felt like beating Clemson,” he said. “You just feel so incredibly ecstatic that nothing in your life could ever go wrong.”
